What Coursified is, what it isn't, and the promises we make about somebody else's teaching.
Coursified adds structure to videos that already exist. We read public transcripts, propose a sequence, generate checkpoints and assessments, and issue a certificate when you pass one.
We are not a video host and not a publisher. Every video plays embedded from its original platform, where the view, the watch time and the revenue belong to the person who made it.
We never download, re-host, re-upload or mirror a video, and we never place a paywall in front of somebody else's teaching.
You need to be 16 or older, or have a guardian's permission. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
Don't use the service to scrape at scale, to resell generated courses as your own product, or to build pathways from content you know to be infringing.
A Coursified certificate attests to one specific thing: that the named person completed a stated pathway and scored at or above its pass mark on an assessment generated from that material, on a given date.
It is not a degree, a professional licence, or an accreditation from any awarding body. It does not certify the accuracy of the underlying videos. Anyone can check any certificate at its public verification page, and we would rather they did.
Modules, takeaways and questions are produced automatically from transcripts. They are usually good and occasionally wrong. Flag any question and it is pulled from the pool immediately, for everyone — generation is automatic, but staying published is not.
There is a free tier and there are paid plans. A pass is a single payment that buys a fixed window of access — it does not renew and no card is stored. A subscription renews until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay and payment is handled by our provider, Bachs; we never receive your card details.
The free tier has usage limits and they may change. We will give notice before reducing what a paid plan already includes, and certificates already issued stay valid regardless of your plan.
We provide the service as it is. We are not liable for decisions you or anyone else makes on the basis of a certificate, a score, or the content of a third-party video. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
